Principal Investigator
Mark Harniss, Ph.D. is the Associate Director of the UW Center on Technology and Disability Studies and Clinical Associate Professor in Rehabilitation Medicine. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Oregon in Special Education and a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology from Utah State University. His research interests focus on the design, development, usability, and effectiveness of instructional and assistive technologies, knowledge translation and implementation science, access to assistive technology in resource limited environments, and accessible measurement. Prior to arriving at UWCTDS, Dr. Harniss was a faculty member in Education at Northern Illinois University and the University of Washington, Tacoma.
